Becker's Hospital Review has published the 2014 edition of its annual list, "100 hospitals with great women's health programs,” including Mercy Medical Center. Mercy has been recognized recently by multiple publications and organizations with a variety of awards and honors.

According to the release circulated by PRWEB, the hospitals featured all offer outstanding health services geared toward women, such as gynecology, obstetrics, women-focused heart care and women-focused cancer care, among other women's health needs. Becker's Hospital Review has published a version of this list annually since 2012.

The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on clinical accolades and recognition for women's health excellence from various healthcare groups and agencies. Those agencies include U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CareChex and UNICEF's Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative.

Becker's Hospital Review is a monthly publication offering up-to-date business and legal news and analysis relating to hospitals and health systems. Content is geared toward high-level hospital leaders, and we work to provide valuable content, including hospital and health system news, best practices and legal guidance specifically for these decision-makers. Each issue of Becker's Hospital Review reaches more than 18,000 people, primarily acute-care hospital CEOs, CFOs and CIOs
